He exposes to us that during childhood, much of learning is subject to obedience, this is generated as part of the state of dependency that the child lives, where the adult considers that a “discipline” is required for them to live an adaptation to their environment, even if the orders are unreasonable. In the learning process, some schools consider that people need to apply their will power to form a discipline that allows them to build the necessary elements to acquire knowledge, even if this involves a series of excessive repetitions. Moshe considered that the more force of will is applied, the production of compulsive acts is fostered, which will tend to generate limitations and rigid ideas, moving the person away from developing his learning capacity. It proposes the learning process as a development of capacity and not the application of will power, through generating a process of "learning to learn" as it suits the most important thing in human life, referring to what can be developed calmly but without solemnity, where patience becomes objective and seriousness does not become compulsive. That is, when a person begins the learning process, by observing them in action we can perceive how much their degree of tension increases in different parts of them such as: tightening the eyebrow, a short and quick breath, at the time of writing (either on the computer or on paper), the sound that is produced when you are doing the activity, are elements that indicate the overwork that you are doing and that these are not necessary to produce it. Most of the people do not give importance to these waste of work because they are “successful” in what they are learning, without realizing the cost of that way of learning, and at the end of a period, health problems increase to what it is considered to be a product of the skills generated by the way they carry out work in the learning process. Feldenkrais considers that learning can be done without this overwork, lowering the level of organic tension, being able to pass from the “smile to the laughter” without obstacle, in a natural and spontaneous way. The pause in learning allows us to understand how the work is being done in the action we are executing, this allows us to adjust the tensions and give time to assimilate the information. 1.-The potent self, Moshe Feldenkrais, publisher harper San Franciasco.
